MAKING MARTIAL ARTS
AND FITNESS ACCESSIBLE
OUR STORY
Kick+ was born out of the pandemic and started as an offering to provide fitness, mobility and exercise sessions for adults with disabilities. Kick+ has since established a full fitness and exercise syllabus which is tailored for each individual student to meet their needs. The syllabus is now recognised and endorsed by the ISKA.
OUR VALUES
Kick+'s core values are to:
• Treat each other respect and as equal;
• Support and encourage individual growth; and
• Work as a team within the academy.
OUR AIM
Our aim at Kick+ is to make martial arts and fitness accessible to all. We believe that it is fundamental to give everyone the same opportunities to take part in kickboxing sessions and to also have the ability to grade. Our aim is to do this by breaking down barriers by delivering our own programme which has been specially designed to meet the individual needs of people with disabilities.

We will carry out a risk assessment for each individual before any training takes place. Following this, we can then work together to tailor sessions to meet that individuals abilities and needs.
Students will be expected to wear activewear appropriate for training and exercise. Kick+ kits are available on sign up to the academy.
